Wesley Breneman, PMHNP-BC

I’m Wesley Breneman, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a deep commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and reclaim their sense of balance. My path into mental health care has been shaped by both personal and professional experiences. Having seen the impact of mental illness in my own family, I’ve made it my mission to create a safe, supportive space where patients feel seen, heard, and empowered in their healing journey.

As a provider, I specialize in working with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. I’m also passionate about providing inclusive, culturally competent care ensuring every patient feels respected, validated, and supported—no matter their background or identity.

Before becoming a psychiatric provider, I worked in ICU and hospice care, where I learned the importance of listening with empathy, staying calm in crisis, and understanding the whole person—not just their symptoms. Today, I bring that same holistic and compassionate approach to psychiatry, blending evidence-based treatments with strategies that support both mind and body.

I believe mental health care is most effective when it’s collaborative and personalized. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or navigating a major life transition, my goal is to meet you where you are and partner with you on the path forward. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle—whether that involves medication management, mindfulness practices, or small, sustainable lifestyle changes. As part of my integrative care approach, I also explore wellness strategies such as improving sleep hygiene and nutrition.
